Eintracht gives the all -clear at Ndicka
Eintracht Frankfurt can build on defender Evan Ndicka in the Europa League final against the Glasgow Rangers. After the Rhein-Main derby at FSV Mainz 05 (2-2), coach Oliver Glasner gave the end of the season for the 22-year-old at the end of the season of the Bundesliga. Ndicka was replaced in the game in the middle of the second half. "It's not a bad thing. He has bubbles on his feet and already had a few pain in training," said Glasner after the final whistle. The replacement was a pure precaution.
In the duel with the Scottish runner -up next Wednesday in Seville, the Hesse also hope for the return of offensive player Jesper Lindström.
The Dane had contracted a thigh injury in the Frankfurt victory in the semi-final first leg at West Ham United. "It looks pretty good. Everything is going according to plan," said Glasner. Lindström is scheduled to start training again on Sunday.
